  • Ahimsa End Gun violence was envisioned by Dr. Shailendra Palvia, Dr. Amod Surekha and Vaisheshi Jalajam. The organization was started on April 18, 2023 and registered in June 2023 as a Georgia Non Profit.
  • Ahimsa is dedicated to addressing the pain and loss that result directly from access to assault-style weapons and the indiscriminate ownership of guns.
  • We choose to be Single-Issue Voters. Our mission is to forge bonds among all religious groups and community organizations toward the noble pursuit of curbing the epidemic of gun violence in our country.
  • We are committed to educating young people about the history and evolution of gun violence, which has been significantly exacerbated by misinterpretations of the Second Amendment.
  • Our youth are learning how to use Ahimsa Activism, Peaceful Protests, and Petitions to bring about change by convincing Congress to enact and enforce laws that save human lives.
  • We are committed to promoting voting on the Single Issue of Ending Gun Violence.
